A book dedicated to the clubfoot warrior unveiled on World Clubfoot Day

On June 3rd, recognized worldwide as World Clubfoot Day, the Give Vacha Foundation and Krup Health celebrated the seventh anniversary of the Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv at the Gunje Gita Centre in Anjar. This significant event also marked the unveiling of Dr. Krupesh Thacker’s upcoming book, “Arjun Uvacha: Nanakda Pagla Bhare Haranfad,” which chronicles the journey of seven-year-old Parv Thacker, known as the world’s youngest singer and actor and a determined clubfoot warrior. The book cover was unveiled by Dr. Shashikant Thacker, Mrs. Nayanaben Thacker, and members of the Parv Fusion Band.

Wonder kid Parv Thacker’s accomplishments in music, acting, and social activities were recently praised by Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He has the distinction of being both the youngest actor and vocalist in history. Several music streaming sites have had his tracks as top hits. As the Global Ambassador of Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv, he is also spearheading the campaign to raise awareness of clubfoot worldwide. Dr. Krupesh, Parv’s father, elaborated by saying that his son finds tremendous inspiration in the chief minister’s praise and admiration.

How music therapy by Dr. Krupesh enhances clubfoot treatment

Clubfoot, clinically known as Congenital Talipes Equinovarus, is a complex congenital deformity of the foot that, if untreated, can severely impact a person’s mobility by making walking difficult and painful. The primary aim of treating clubfoot is to correct the deformity long-term, ensuring the foot is functional and pain-free. Achieving a plantigrade position (normal alignment) and enabling the wearing of regular shoes are key goals. The treatment process for clubfoot can be prolonged and painful. When Parv Thacker, a young clubfoot warrior, faced this challenge, his father, Dr. Krupesh Thacker, introduced an innovative approach by integrating music therapy into the treatment regimen.
